This is great news! I did notice mention of 2006 sets by a LEGO employee here:

I’m happy to see confirmation. I hope there will be even more sets. Perhaps some
sort of lodge. or Valkyries? :-D
I added 7020 and 7021 to the LUGNET LEGO sets database, even though the info is
kinda preliminary.
Hey, that looks like a new fig in the foreground of 7020. The guy with light
gray (or white) beard? And some hefty wheels I haven’t seen before (but maybe
those have been other themes). Anyone see anything else new? I wish there were
some new shield designs.
I don’t own the Viking fortress or catapult yet, but do those contain the brown
tiles with knotwork decor on them? They look pretty slick!
