I must say that I think I have yet to see a large piece which someone hasn't
managed to make very good use of. As you point out, for certain
constructions, using a large piece like this makes for a much sturdier
model, and with a little effort, the lines of the piece can be sufficiently
concealed, or made to meld into a nice model. I just saw someone who used
the complex slopes from the Star Wars droid fighter for the roof of a
trolley (other good uses have been roofs for small train or bus stations and
awnings on buildings).
