The Southern California LEGO Train Club will be displaying their revamped
and new layout this weekend (Sat, Oct 12 and 13) at the Discovery Science
Center in Santa Ana, CA (www.discoverycube.org). This is a hands-on Science
Center and they are featuring a variety of local model railroad clubs.
Besides the SCLTC layout, is modeled after a simplier time when towns were
small and rural. Some of the new features include a campground, a mining
camp, and a dam, a windmill, a winery, and other new items, to name just a
few. The layout required extensive hours spent terraforming so that the
layout will be on four different table heights. This also required numerous
tunnels and bridges to be built. We will be putting our Super Chiefs, My
Own Trains, MOC Railroad locomotives and cars and other LEGO railroad items
to the test on this exciting layout.

days. We'll be posting a notice later when pics are available.
