Thank you for the very kind words. I had a lot of fun building most of the
park. The playground came together after a couple of rebuilds. It wasn't
designed as a copy of a real-life structure, but a sense of realism was the
most over-riding concern.

The gazebo (and audience) designed by another member of our club, Susan
Michon. I had a chance to study it when I was coordinating it with the rest
of the park area. It uses some very intriguing building techniques. I
agree that it is very impressive. The band itself is great, too. She does
deserve a gold brick for the concert scene.

The sculpted trees were a lot fun to build. I usually build trains and
buildings with a keen eye toward balance and symmetry and it was a stretch
for me to build trees with an "organic" feel. I really appreciate your
positive feedback. I wasn't very sure how the trees would go over given the
fact that LEGO actually produces single- and multi-part trees.
