The North Carolina LEGO Train Club will have a 10'x20' layout on display
from December 1st through December 28th at South Hills Mall in Raleigh,
North Carolina.  Our layout is part of the Christmas theme of the Mall and
will be set up in the open area of the mall near Santa.

More details (location, directions, etc.) are available on our web site:

http://www.ncltc.cc/events/southhillsmall2002/index.htm

On the afternoon of December 7th we will be hosting a building event to
benefit the Food Bank of North Carolina.  We will set up our play area and
kids (and adults too) will have the opporunity to build with a large pile of
bricks and run a LEGO train.  We will  be collecting canned food for the
Food Bank - kids who bring two cans of food will have the opportunity to win
a LEGO train set.  We will be giving away three LEGO Train sets (4565, 4561,
and 10020) via random drawing from the people who have made a donation.

More details on the building event can be found on our web site:

http://www.ncltc.cc/events/southhillsmall2002/buildevent.htm

This is a new venture for us, the layout will largely run unmanned on a
series of timers.  The layout will actually start coming together tonight
but won't be completely set up until 12/1.

If you are in the area please stop by and see our layout.

Some early pictures of the layout set up process are now moderated on
