Finally managed to wrestle a day off and head on over to the Manatee County
Civic Center...where Rob Werner had his layout set up, complete with an
'imagination table' where kids big and little could fiddle with bricks. The
crowd draw was pretty good, not only getting stares and shouts of "oh, I
want that!" from the children, but also words of praise from seasoned model
railroaders as well. With all the kids clustered around the layout, it was
hard to get many pics, but here goes...
