Hi all,
This is an official reminder for all of you on the VLC Announcement
list.
This weekend the VLC is proud to be participating in the Trains 2001
show at the Cameron Recreation Center in Burnaby. Relevant details can
be found below. For more information, check out the Trains 2001 website
at:
http://www.bctrains.org
VLC members are encouraged to arrive Saturday morning at 9:00 am to help
with setting up the layout. The public show itself takes place from
9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 11th.
In addition to helping with the VLC display itself, VLC members can earn
"points" towards our club's honorarium by showing up early at 7:00 am on
Saturday morning to assist in the general setup of the display hall. If
you do decide to help in this way, make sure that the organizers know
that you are there, and that you are a VLC member!

** The show will be busy, and special arrangements have been made with
Lougheed Mall to use their parking lot during the show **

at 15:50 on Sunday, November 11, 2001 **
Grand Prize: A Pair of Tickets on the Pacific Starlight Dinner Train
for one of the six Christmas trips.
