Re: "No Contact" Homebrew Train Sensor for Mindstorms

(...) Tony, If you search back through the .trains and .rcx newsgroups, you'll find a few scattered gems on the topic of RCX control of 9V trains. I'll summarize some of the basics for you here: The Mindstorms RCX microcontroller brick provides (...) (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics)

I would pay $100 just for the right to download 30 sets of building instructions. Come on, people, this is a gold mine. Make it successful and we'll see Ultimate Train Set #2.   HP Hogwarts Express and normal 9V trains?

Hi All, now that  4708 Hogwarts Express is available (in USA via S@H and some stores) can someone please answer me this.   Brickworld Keynote - Updates on the Future of 9V Trains?

End of 9V Trains protest layout idea

Here's a crazy idea... How about one or more of the larger Lego train clubs that attend shows set up the following layout: a 30 x 50 foot layout (or some such large size) with no power provided at all. No batteries. No electricity. Not even solar (...) (17 years ago, 23-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX) !
