I thought that 080 was from 1969, that's the catalog I've got with my
set. I'd have to do some checking on that, I've still got the box too.
I can definately say it is Samsonite era Lego. Never heard it called
Ambassador Train, though never was able to find much information about
the set either :(
Bill, did you get the box? does it have instructions for building some
of the stuff on the sides of the insert box? I don't remember fully,
though I believe the instructions for building the train was actually
printed around the edges of the top insert box.
