A couple of weeks ago I posted a message asking how to get started
with LEGO trains. Thanks for all of your replies!
I ended up buying a 4565 (Freight & Crane Railway), but it's still
on backorder. However, instead of buying a speed regulator and extra
track, I ended up buying a 4561 (Railway Express) from kbkids.com when
they had it on sale -- it was only about $40 more, and the extra parts
are well worth it to me.
Having set up the track (with its wimpy 7' length :) I'm having a
blast! Now I just need to figure out where I'm going to put all
of these -- the castle stuff occupies all of my space now. I really
need to build that addition...

| (...) Just wait until you get into switch tracks and all that. Then the fun really begins! Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (URL) Lego Workshop: (URL) Lego Club: (URL) (24 years ago, 8-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains)

| I am also a new in LEGO train, I bought some sets from eBay, but I still have't gotten them as they are on the way. You said it is only $40 in kbkids.com, I checked some times, it was $89.99 last week, now it is $95.99, when did you find it was $40? (...) (24 years ago, 8-Nov-00, to lugnet.trains)
