Okay, my son strikes again:-) Here are some pics of his 4 wide Soo
engine and a 3 wide Thomas:

The Soo utilizes some HO passenger trucks that I had purchased to use on
my 4 wide Hiawatha passenger car:

We will have to find some Blombergs somewhere for his loco. It is our
intention to try and run our 4 wide train on HO track some time--
perhaps at a train show if the future.
I think we are gassed out on smaller scale stuff; my son just had his
11th birthday and got Vision Command-- he's already made about 10 stop
action movies! Maybe I'll post some of those down the pike. But as for
me; now it's back to 8 wide and 14 wide{:^D I'll keep you
all...er...posted;-)

| (...) Now that SOO is some kinda cool. Nice detail work considering the size. Perhaps even cooler than the 2wides, and I did like those. The cab needs to be just a bit higher - perhaps a plate under the cab roof tiles would be enough. Might be too (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.trains)
