| I have a 4.5 v train motor which has developped a loud screaming noise when in use. No minifigs trapped inside, but joking apart I can't see anything obvious. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar ???? Michael Pratt (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) Yes, last year I got set 183 still sealed in box and after bringing it to work the engine made a terrible noise too. Just a (small) drop of fine oil has healed it. That should work with your motor too. Regards, Ben (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)
