I have several black 16x6 plates with large holes in the middle
A couple have buffers moulded in as used in blue hopper wagons
the rest do not and not sure what these were used in (other hoppers?, engines?)

What sort of value do these have?
Are they worth a trade for 28x6 plates, what ratio, 1 to 1, 2 to 1, etc

Were they ever used in anything besides trains (doubt the ones with moulded
buffers were)

regards
lawrence

(...) moulded (...) Originally used as baseplates to sit on top of the old 4.5v motors, I believe Huw (25 years ago, 7-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)
