With over 70 post with in the last 24 hours, most on the table and module
design. I thought I would give the GFLTC take on display modules. We dont
just use tables, we cover them, making them cabinets. It make it easy to setup
and operate at shows. We have three types of cabinets small, large and corner.
Small Cabinet: 30 1/4 in wide x 35 1/2 in deep (building space: 96 stud wide x
96 + 4 stud deep)
3 x 3 road plates (6 straight track sections)
Large Cabinet: 60 1/2 in wide x 35 1/2 in deep (building space: 192 stud wide
x 96 + 4 stud deep)
6 x 3 road plates (12 straight track sections)
Corner Cabinet: 40 5/16 in wide x 40 5/16 in deep (building space: 128 stud
wide x 128 stud deep)
4 x 4 road plates
The table tops are 36 in off the floor and the roof is 33 in above the table
top. The front is plexiglas and the back is wood. The section are moved with
roofs attached and can be lifted by two people. Also they should work with
PNLTC design with an open side.

| Robin, I was wondering how you run the layouts when they're in cabinets? I noticed that at the GATS show your layout was against the wall, so you wouldn't be able to stand behind it. (or that's what the picture looked like) How do you change rolling (...) (25 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)
