Careful now. The "dark ages" have been known to come to an end... :)

I
have been amazed at the number of adults that love them.  I find it very
reaffirming that I am not alone.
I especially enjoy trains and monorails.

Cool. Another trainiac...

I have always loved trains, but
the O gauge required too much room and too much patience to keep them running.

Really? Lego trains are about O gauge.

So Lego trains have been the perfect solution for me.
I have been reading the net pages and was confused by the term point.  I
think I figured out from context that it is the British term for switch.

Yes.

Is
there any place with a glossary of terms for model railroaders?
I have enjoyed many of your web pages, and am inspired to get my train
running.

I'm just saying "hi" and can't really teach you. Someone else will have to tell
you. I am not fluent.

I also have a new Cargo Railway on the way in the mail. My family
found it on clearance sale at the Walmart in Evergreen, Colorado.  (Sorry,
don't know if any are left.)

I'm glad you didn't pay full price. I also have a heavily modified 4559. It's
not done yet, but you can see it on my page found in my sig below (shameless
plug ;-)

It will be a long time before you see any
pictures as I have a few details to clean up (I am finishing a masters thesis
in geology).

Wow. Go get 'em. Meanwhile when you get a few moments, check this out:

Make it a good day.  Louise

Thanks! I'm looking forward to seeing your pix!

Do what you can, but behave yourself.

We'll have more, right after this.
