      Not quite...it is CN and BNSF. :( although, I can see why. The Canadian railways have always had some US feeder lines (CN owned CV and GTW (CN used to be GT :) ). It makes sense, since the 2 railways in Canada compete with each other, and then the (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

     The big question remaining after this shocking news is, will BNSF+CN merge with CSX or NS, as those are the two remaining eastern roads. Whoever they go with, UP is sure to go with the other... at least that's the conventional wisdom in the rail (...) (25 years ago, 22-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.off-topic.fun)
