| | | | | | | (...) ... (...) That would be my guess, all of the recent IR stuff seems to have these (e.g., the PF receiver, even the (URL) NXT motors> and PF motors). Further, it sounds like the fuse has gone bad if he can't run it and the motor runs fine on (...) (13 years ago, 3-Nov-11, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Hi Frances, I'm almost sure that there's also a kind of protection into the AAA batterybox, similar to the one found in the motors to protect it for short cirquit/overload causing injuries.
