True it doesn’t have instructions for adding a 9v motor, but its still a very nice set. Oh and speaking of 9v motors, I made conversions in MLCAD for 9v and 12v motors. One drall back though, it doesn’t allow for adding a power cable for a light since the buffer plates sit on top of the power connectors(for both motors). Enjoy and happy building!

(...) NOW we DO have instructions for adding a 9v motor! When Lego S@H actually ships the Train set, the instructions, together with 2pcs 1x4 plate, are added! (URL) I also build my motor in the tender, but the designers at Lego made it very simple. (...) (18 years ago, 6-Oct-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

I start with my conclusion: If you look for a very nice Christmas present, for yourself or for your kids: go buy this Christmas Train!!! I could not resist to buy this nice set at the Brand Store in Oberhausen-Germany. I build it, and made some (...) (18 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains)
