I foud this curious picture: (URL) It is (poorly translated by google) a hovertrain, that runs on a monorail style track, with a jet(?) engine driving it forwards. they referred to it as a "plane without wings". (...) Hm. The monorail wheels are pretty smooth-- I wonder if you could use the big Lego fans to actually drive a little car forward... Hm. (...) Mark & Ross Benz of BAYLUG created a working mag-lev train using lego train magnets. It canbe done, it just might get expensive if you use an all-Lego solution.
