Re: 4558 and 4547 Question —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Yes and maybe. They are good, very good. Whether they are good to buy depends on how badly you want them, I guess. (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) 5, I think. Maybe 6, I forget. Plus one of Ali V's that I am holding for him which will be up for sale soon, I think. (...) Probably off by a factor of 2.         Re: 4558 and 4547 Question —Jason M. Normand
(...) I dont think re-releasing the old sets is the best option. I think that would seriously diminish thier place in "LEGO Train History". However i can say that if TLG would release trains of equal quality in limited qauntities most train (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 4558 and 4547 Question —Nick Taylor
There probably isn't one chance in a million of TLG re-releasing 4558 and 4547 ... but I'd sure like to see a *new* train set that can be "mixed and matched" with the 4558. Different loco and cars, but the same gray primary color with red, white & (...) (25 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 4558 and 4547 Question —Mike Stanley
(...) Hunh? If they rereleased the 4558 the only thing it would "diminish" is the short-term market value. It wouldn't suddenly become a less worthy set, would it? For those interested in owning 4558, rereleasing would be a godsend. For those (...) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.trains)
