Hi all,

I posted this evening some pictures of 2 Belgian commuter trains.
Those are both verry familiar, but have some minor differences.
The commuter trains are the AM66 (Red) and AM70 (Blue - with labels).
Both are stil in service, but most of those commuter trains get a complete
update and are now repainted in a silver gray color.
The blue AM70 served as a commuter train between cities and the national airport
of Brussels.
In 1978, the official loge from the Belgian railroad was replaced with the word
' SABENA', name from our former national airline company.
In 1988, this word was once again removed and replaced with 'AIRPORT CITY
EXPRESS'. The AM70 in no longer used for traveling between the cities and the
airport. This one has been replaced with newer comuter trains from the AM80
serie.

(...) Sorry, the folder isn't moderated yet, so we can't see them. Can you post deep links? The "i=NNNNN" url is not a deep link - we need the ".jpg" url. Thanks! (20 years ago, 25-Jun-04, to lugnet.trains)

(...) They look awesome! Specially the AM66 really managed to capture the look of the real train. This reminds me, I need to go do some railscouting in Belgium soon, before all is repainted. (20 years ago, 25-Jun-04, to lugnet.trains)
