Re: Brick Built Beasts volume 1

Hi, Bruce. Just wanted to add my thanks for this great resource. Often times when I've needed to create new brick animals for The Brick Testament, I first want to see what others have come up with before me. Finding such examples has sometimes been (...) (...) I agree, GREAT resource. I hope it gets linked from lots of places. Unless you object I will try to remember to link to it from the header of .trains. Funny thing.. if you look at the different animal categories, it seems Rev Smith has a (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) I have, both from the air, and up close, (and in articles in TRAINS) and I agree. (...) I just don't have enough brick(1) to do very many of them and I'd rather go for a huge pile of smaller containers that I CAN do, and 2 or 3 ships instead (...)   Re: A little math cioncerning ships, containers and Minifigs

(...) I agree with Larry here (...) Larry introduced me to this term/concept and this is what I had in mind. The container size is the key. The model seems to have 5 rows of 2-wide containers and you would want 4-wide which IIRC is what the train (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.boats, lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Actually, they probably should be 2.1 wide or something. In fact I hope to see some of these at BrickFest DC in the Micro Scale exhibit... wouldn't a microscale dockyard and train container loadout facility be cool? (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)
