Will the terror end???

Two more switches fall to the Dremel!

The double switch works very nice.

I'll see what I'm in the mood for next.

As usual, let me know what you think!

In which I took a Dremel to two of my train switches.

I was inspired by a picture I saw about a week ago from another LEGO train show
(can't track down the post--I'm too tired) and it's the exact idea I've had
kicking around in my mind, but being the fundamentally lazy person that I am, I
just never did it until now.

And I was pretty much concerned about digging into a switch with a Dremel--you
know how much these switches cost???

Anyway, it was not as scary as I originally anticipated.

Soon I may make a set of those special track crossings I've seen on eBay a few
times--two switches joined together on the offshoot, but only 8 studs separates
the two main tracks.  If you've seen 'em you know what I'm talking about.

We shall see if I'm so inspired.

Take care,

Dave
