Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when I saw that. Same train, new (smaller)
station, $10 (US) cheaper. Oh well. The rumor was that this would be a 9V
compliant Hogwarts Express but the picture still shows the 2x2 spoked wheels.
Maybe it also comes with some 9V train wheel-sets but I'd be surprised (at $40,
I'm sure it doesn't come with a 9V motor). I was hoping for a more detailed
redesign like the new Star Wars X-Wing and Millenium Falcon redesigns. So much
for new drivers or dark-red bricks. I think I'm happier when I don't hear
rumors about what's coming. Then I can just be delightfully surprised when
something new looks cool. For example, I had no idea they would do one of these
but it looks like fun to me:
