| Hi everyone, I was sitting here and remembered about this, so thought I'd share it, but anyways; not sure how common this is, but twice now I've seen the unpainted tan shell of a GP- or SD- esque unit (just the long hood) ride by on the bed of a (...) (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) This last summer, I saw a similar thing - the de-trucked and gutted shell of a stanard US 4-bin hopper getting hauled away. Also while I was driving so no pics. Thanks for reminding me about it. :) James (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) Happens a lot in this country, complete locos, coaches and wagons are moved by road. Because of the stupid way privatisation works in this country it is often cheaper to send rail vehicles by road than rail. Tim (21 years ago, 14-Dec-03, to lugnet.trains)
