(...) Interesting stuff. I wan't aware of the 12-straight model. Mathematically, I can see this works because of two things: 1. It's so great I put it in the header of the newsgroup. however I think it's missing some other info, specifically some of the diagonal stuff that was asked about recently and a few other tricks. (...) Bill, It looks great. Here's a post I made on alternate track geometries a while back. Feel free to use any of the ideas shown. (URL) I would put a little more emphasis on the fact that a straight can be used to replace 2 alternating curves (...) (21 years ago, 21-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains)
