Hi All,
Well we got the pictures up of the small 5'x5' two loop layout the PNLTC
displayed at the Portland stop of the LEGO road show. It is basically 2/3 of a
mountain scene that we are working on to be used in conjunction with our
"normal" layout. Design and construction where mainly done by Ben Fleskes and
Jeremy Rear a couple of other members pitched in a few hours here and there
including Kelly McKiernan (of BZPower fame). Yep we recruited the Bionicle guy
into the train club... lord have mercy, I hear there's a Bionicle train coming
down the pike!
some details about the mountain:
It comes a part in 5 sections, the snow peak lifts off and the remainder splits
into quadrants. It is built mostly (~95%) out of 2x4 and 8x16 bricks!
