Cool Handcar! (...) The levers are a clever idea. The levers go through a switch, but theres a bit of friction when it hits the moving part. (...) I'm pretty sure Lego doesn't make clear axles or universal joints. You could try one of the clear (...) (21 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)

Stefan, Thanks for testing it out for me on the switches...glad to hear it works. Adjusting the levers can be a little tricky...not sure if adjusting would help where you mentioned there was friction or not. I have had several suggestion so far (...) (21 years ago, 19-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)

Hey there Shawn, Great idea about the use of the panels! I will look into trying that. So it will go through a switch but not a cross track? Hmmm...how to convince Lego to make a train wheel that will fit a technic axle?...imagine the possibilities! (...) (21 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.trains)
