Greetings LUGnetters!
It's been a busy 2 weekends for the Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club members.
On March 8-9, we participated at the HighWheeler 2003 show at Harper College in
Palatine IL. This was NILTC's second time at this show and we've grown a little
bit since last years show. Check out the pictures at the events page:

Make sure to check out the movies too! We decided to pit Remy's "Thomas the
Tank Engine" against...well, a brick wall. The results were quite amusing.
On March 15th, NILTC was at the All American Road Show in LaGrange, IL with a
reduced layout (hey, I actually live in WI and couldn't make it that weekend)
but the turnout was outstanding nevertheless. More at the events page:

Both of these shows were lots of fun and the crowds continue to be floored by
what one can do with a Lego brick and their imagination. We handed out a TON of
catalogs and hopefully stimulated the imaginations of all of the patrons that
attended. Lego trains continue to gain in popularity here in the states and I'm
really looking forward it's continued growth.
