12 V Trains on 9V Track

Is It possable to have a 12 Volt train on a 9V track, i know that 12V trains
have a power source in the middle of the track, It it possable to convert ?

the 12v trains will not run on the 9v trrack using the 12v v motor if you want to do that then buy yourself the 9v motor service pack.and replace the 12v motor with a 9v one. (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)
