Well, here she is:
In working on my latest steam engine, I needed to find a cowcatcher design.
After a day or two or working almost exclusively on that problem, I finally
came up with something that I am happy with. I've been holding off the
announcement until Brickfest, since I want to unviel it there, but here are a
bunch of pictures of the 6-wide version that I made as a prototype:

John, you can rest assured that this is just a *scale* prototype; the one used
on my new engine is significantly larger. Although the engine started out at 8
wide (and in fact, the boiler still is 8 wide), fellow NELUGgers convinced me
that my new engine is, indeed, 10-wide. Pictures of that are forthcoming ...
