That's what I assumed. First time I saw it is in the printed curved wings
of the Green Goblin's flyer <set:1374>. I got a handful of bricks in it
from the RLD backstage visit to LLW, left over from their Virgin Atlantic
747-400 cockpit model. It's a little more shiny than normal bricks, but you
can clearly see flow lines from the injection process. With light at some
angles it doesn't even look any different from light grey.
It all depends on the mould - if the flow lines all show up on the side of
the bricks with horizontal ridges, it'll look bad. If the flow lines are on
the vertical ridge side, and so hidden inside the model, it'll be alright.
Whether it'll look good with just some silver amongst the grey though I
don't know.
