Hi,
I just recieved my new battery tender from Lego, I never had the 7722
set, but liked it, so I built the loco. It was powered by a normal battery
box on a wagon underframe, I now have the proper thing! My signal and trip
posts I ordered a few years ago also work, but the signal is missing the
white base and trip ramp. I'll have to search all over for that I guess!
Just nice to see lego still has some of the older train equipment in stock,
and is prepared to sell it!
I think I've cleared South Wales out of 12V and 4.5v stuff.. The toy shop in
Llantwit Major had a load of 12v stuff a few months ago, and that's where I
bought a new 12v motor (My 7745 one packed up in 1993!) I seem to remember
an automatic level crossing, points, lights, track, LED signal there, I'm
kicking myself now as all the train stuff has gone now!!
I also just bought up 3 boxes of track and conductor rails from Nolton toys
in Bridgend.
Mike.
