  Re: Vintage train part identification

I'm already at work, I hope I can splain it to you. 4 x 6 rows of studs on the inside. 1 studs width all the way around that is flat like a tile, then the 1 brick high sides. The underside is just like a regular plate. The whole thing is 6 x 8. No (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Remote Turnouts and Decouplers

(...) Steve, Did you get around to the DAT file for the switch house? We're still eagerly anticipating it. :-) Thanks. Play well. Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Vintage train part identification

(...) Note... this set has not just a one piece vehicle base ala Town Jr., but the wheels are permanently attached to it. That would elicit howls of rage today, I expect... But I love Fabuland anyway. (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: Vintage train part identification

(...) Maybe Ben B. knows what it is... but to me there wasn't enough there to work with. Can you post a somewhat bigger pic and maybe a pic of the other side? Are those studs on the inside or what? Thanks! (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Vintage train part identification

I got this part in a big lot of train bits. (URL) tried looking it up on Partsref and Peeron with no luck. It doesn't even have a part #. The only reference it has on it is 2-01 on the bottom (unless that is the #, but I tried it also no luck). (...) (23 years ago, 29-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Gear and Axle Strength (was Re: Power Pullin' With My Tractor)

(...) Another approach that doesn't require the macaroni but should be almost as good is to simply use the 2x2 rounds as strengtheners. Since they stick together with the studs and also have an axle hole down the middle, you could use them to (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.technic)

  Re: image sizes on Brickshelf

(...) gah! that's a terrible thing to do, IMO. not only you force people to download the huge picture, just to see it as 100x65, but you use up their cpu to resize it, every time anyone hits the page... instead of just resizing them once yourself, (...)
