Hi all you train-heads out there.
I am officially announcing that we are holding three morning train sessions
and two evening train "hang-out" sessions at BricksWest (wwww.Brickswest.com).
The three morning train sessions are:
Train Building Techniques
Integrating LEGO Mindstorms With Your Train Layout
Anatomy of a LEGO Train Show - from layout design to tear down
All 3 sessions start at 9:00am and run Saturday through Monday. Each session
will have an agenda and special guest (someone old-timer you've read on
LUGNET). I'm hoping for a lot of discussion and interactivity.
The two evening hang-out sessions will be held Saturday night 7:00pm and
Sunday night at 8:00pm, until ??? It will be a time to get to know each
other, trade building techniques, and run trains. Track and controllers will
be provided for an ad hoc setup to run, test, race and maybe even crash some
trains! Feel free to bring as much rolling stock as you'd like to show off,
even buildings and structures are welcome.
