If you haven't already checked this space train out on BrickShelf, I
encourage you to do so. Middle section tilts. Looks like the tilting
mechanism is an inclined axis of rotation similar in principle to Eric
Brok's tilting Metroliner. I am wondering if the application in the tilting
space train is forced-tilt at one end with the opposite end free to
pivot/rotate about a universal joint.

| (...) Based on this pic: (URL) think you are right. The vehicle is on an S curve but tilts strongly in one direction even though the angles of the end units w.r.t. the center are the same (in opposite directions, relatively speaking). Need to see (...) (23 years ago, 16-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains)
