(...) It's a shame in a way that they're all 1x2x3 train windows, but the car looks nice. Now I know what to do with those green train doors... Plus, I can get glass for all the other 1x2x3 train windows I have (red especially). Frank (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general)

Am I going colorblind? 10013 is a black and blue freight car, 10014 a red caboose. Where's the tank car? Where's the green windows? 10013 - 121pcs, $16.99 3737 - 15pics, $14.99 Gee, that shows how much overpriced 3737 is (or that 10013 is underpriced). All these new sets ROCK! Even if you can't agree with the accuracy of the sets, they certainly have some killer parts in them. (...) (23 years ago, 23-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.general)

Re: New Train Sets #10013 and #10014

(...) There is an unfortunate critical difference though. 3737 includes a 6x28 train base where 100013 uses a 6x24. It's interesting that most sets which come with 8 wheel cars use the 6x24 base, though 4565 has two of each. So far, as far as I can (...)
