    Auto Crossing —Sam Hastings
   Hi guys, I want to know if it is possible to make a magnetic field sensor, for an automatic level crossing.      (...) The simplest way is to use a reed switch under the track to pick up the magnetic couplers. I haven't tried this method but it shouldn't give you any problems.    I am designing a RCX controlled Level Crossing, it used two pairs of light sensors/lamps to detect train, and use another two pairs of light sensors/lamps to detect truck/car on the road it crossed rail, RCX will control level crossing down or up (...)
