I think GMLTC typically looked for some amount that would cover the expenses (gas, budget lodging if it was a long way away from MSP, etc.)... 100 seems reasonable, maybe a bit more. | Very nice design. No springs either! I will definitely try it. The slack action, as you mentioned, is a concern, but kudos to the design that allows you to push and still have the coupler pivot.
