  Re: Pantograph powered LEGO trains?

(...) Sure, if you don't mind using paint and stickers for detailing, which I was led to believe that you do mind. <gd&r> Mike (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.gmlug, lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Pantograph powered LEGO trains?

Those of you that don't know... Brian is a "stealth" member of GMLTC, he doesn't live in the Twins any more but still comes out for shows. While he is from the "paint and stickers are OK" school of modeling, which I don't normally hold truck with, (...)   BayLTC Logo finished

I have just finished the BayLTC logo to the best of my ability. I have made it in both a windows metafile, which will retain its sharpness regardless of the size it is printed, which is excellent for banners, and a gif for easy viewing. It can be (...)   Re: Attaching train bogies

I built a flat-bed car which used 2 of the newer style rounded Technic beams to connect to the bogie plate. Seems to work pretty good. Just the right thickness for the stud on the bogie plate. Tim Strutt 8^) (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Greetings!

Hello to all the other GMLTC members. I really should read this group more often (I spend way too much time on robotics). Anyways, I won't be able to make the LaCrosse show (again :-( ) due to a conflict with one of my local shows. Just to let those (...)   Re: Pantograph powered LEGO trains?

Ben, Hi. A couple years ago I installed caternary over most of my layout. The support masts are all Lego elements but the wire is not. I use HO scale Maerklin pantographs to pick-up power on the engines (see "(URL) A wire runs down into the motor (...) (25 years ago, 26-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)
