(...) One thing to think about is whether wire would actually add enough to the layout to make it worth all the hassle. I've seen quite a few layouts now with just poles, and they generally look really good. ROSCO (14 years ago, 12-Oct-10, to lugnet.trains)

(...) For a more easy string build trolly wire, you could try the "String with End Studs"-part. When I use this part, I turn the end studs a bit to get some tension in the strings. (14 years ago, 11-Oct-10, to lugnet.trains)
