One of the positive sides of all the recent talk of 9v trains is that it got me building again. I don't usually post renders, but I liked the way this one turned out, and I don't (yet) have the pieces to build it. Here is my version of Rutland (...) (17 years ago, 6-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.loc.us.vt, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX) ! 
 
  Power Functions presentation
 
I have updated my website with a presentation of the new Power Functions system, including: # Overview of Power Functions range # Description of working # Comparison with older 9V mini-motors # LDraw and LeoCAD part files (URL) motors comparison (...) (...) Thanks John! Well, you'll be able to see my 4-4-0 run IRL when we finally meet at a show. (URL) Since I based Jupiter off of this one, they run the same. It's kinda funny to watch it take corners, it seems to 'snap' into and out of turns more (...) (17 years ago, 5-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Hi Johan, What exactly do you mean with " the internals of points"? If you mean the inner side of a point when you dismount the bottom plate, then i can help you, but only from a 9V point (2859), not from the 7996 point. Perhaps i can place (...) (17 years ago, 5-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains)
