| (...) Monorail trains just run slow. Just how slow depends on your perspective. I just ran two sets of monorail at the NASM (National Air and Space Museum) yesterday. Indeed, Steve Hassenplug & I did exactly this at BrickFest 2005 with the GBC trains - we had two trains running around a single loops, but in this case used four isolated sections so that each side fo the loop was under the complete control of (...) | After a (too) long hiatus of train building, I am back. I build the Dutch "Koploper". (URL) I build 4 head (=engine) sections, and 4 passenger cars, I will take it to NMRA 2007 for its inaugural run. A pilot version ran at the GTE Columbus show, but (...) | (...) Block control was fairly common on model train layouts before DCC and other digital solutions became available. If you do a google search for "block control" you should find a few references.
