Re: ILTCO at the National NMRA convention in Cincinnati, July 2005

(...) This event is going to be spectacular and I can hardly wait to go! JOHN (19 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) I'm not sure but I think there's a misunderstanding there. (I've been not precise enough) There are two tiles and if the one in the side (SNOT mounted) of the engine has no offset, the one "stud up" has a 0.4 stud offset relatively to the (...) In lugnet.announce, Paul Janssen wrote: Oops, 14 clubs, I forgot Indylug/CILTC!! Paul ps. My (poor) excuse for this omission is that they keep changing their name to CILTC, and then back to Indylug, so when typing the list, I left out CILTC, but (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains)

ILTCO at the National NMRA convention in Cincinnati, July 2005

ILTCO would like to invite everyone to come see the largest LEGO train layout ever (~50 x 70 feet, or well over 15 x 20 meters) at the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) National Train Show, July 7-9, 2005 in Cincinnati!!!! The show is open (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.trains, lugnet.events, lugnet.loc.us.oh, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.town) !!

(...) This is a useful technique I and others have used before, but in this case it isn't actually necessary. Try putting a technic 1x1 brick with a half pin in it, or a 'dalek' brick (1x1 brick with studs on all sides) on top of the laid-down (...) (...) ... (...) Bonjour Philippe et Erik This technique incredibly rich !! 1. Use of the 1x1 Technic brick for SNOT orientation needed for the 0.4 stud gap by the plate. In fact not a plate but a 2x2 corner plate because the stud is a bit higher (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Philippe, the model looks great, I even like the yellow and grey better then the blue one. Those windows kick booty. 6wide is fine by me, saves on brick and it'll fit on any layout. Although I would concider moving the handrails out a bit, (...) (19 years ago, 31-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: A french BB 62400

(...) Looks like fans on the left end, and the exhaust in the middle. You have taken such care on details, Philippe-- why squish it to 6 wide? From the proto pics, it appears the the body "wants" to be 8 wide, and the nose 5 wide. There are quite (...) (19 years ago, 31-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Hello, Thank you to all contributors for the feed-back. (...) Chris, well... the top is quite desert :) Because I have no idea from the pictures I could get what was happening up there.
