(...) We had a non-9v on our Layout at GATS this last weekend. We could motorize it for a lot less than $120.00. I bought the set #4708 at the outlet store from Brickfest last year for $14.99 in a damaged box, but the set was perfect. (URL) GtwLUG (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.trains)

(...) hey, I think $120 is just a little steep for a train set that size but then again I paid $130 the Railway Express #: 4561. I also think that TLC upcharges a lot of things. maybe you can find it on E-bay later if you want if for a cheaper (...) (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.trains)
