(...) Before adding a second motor, put some weight in the loco, as much directly above the motor bogie as possible. I've added some weights to my 4551 and Santa Fe and it makes a HUGE difference. Now even the 12V cars from 7740 are no longer any (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)
