(...) Perhaps but the English colloquial meaning is to emphasize. ("that car was Big with a capital B" means it was REALLY big...) It's a usage that has not been very common lately, it may be from some time ago. Today you're probably more likely to (...) (22 years ago, 25-May-02, to lugnet.trains)
