Re: Learning Express: New Toy Store at 28th and East Paris

(...) We sort of know the owner, as she teaches at Nik and Taya's school. I told her I was glad to see her carrying LEGO, asked her about pricing.   Using the 5120 switch?

Hello! As I have seen this part being used for automatic switches etc., then I expect that some will know how it works. Is it a 2 or 3 step switch. Just on/off or off and 2 directions? Sonnich. (25 years ago, 20-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Getting into the mainstream

  Some Train questions

Hi Trainees, :-) I was wondering why there is no Lego Train web ring? Seems like a good idea. I also wondered if anyone has made a UP (or even better, MOPAC) GP30? Where could I find pics of such a model? Thank you. -- Have fun! John AUCTION Page (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) 'I don't get it.' Back to the subject - the track width is 1.5 inches which puts it between O Gauge and 1 Gauge so you will have to make your own track or modify ready-made track and turnouts. (25 years ago, 19-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: My new Engine: SD70M

(...) Thanks Ralph, I agree, the Technic crown gear is one of the most realisticly sized & shaped object for a fan cover that I have seen. It even curves over around the edges like the real fan covers do! Unfornately, I can't claim this as my (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jul-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

Re: Help request regarding alternative programming systems

(...) Check out Dave Baum's NQC (Not Quite C). This is your best bet, IMHO. NQC doesn't get around the significant limitations of the RCX firmware, but it should easily be able to handle the application that you describe. (URL) you are running a (...)   Help request regarding alternative programming systems

Allow me to request a little help from all the rcx experts out there. I've purchased Mindstorms set and the infrared remote control.
