Well, I noticed that the top of the boiler in teh LDraw pic is horizontal, and the same height as the firebox top, and in the model as built the firebox is a plate higher than th eboiler top, and there is a step in the boiler top about halfway (...) The LDraw render of it is a preliminary idea of what i wanted to do, then the pics are what it is currently,except for the functionality of the wheels/drivers. If you didnt find the (...) They named a train after my home town? Wow. Does "grande vitesse" imply anything in French other than "very fast"? If it doesn't, I think Grand Rapids should get a refund on The Calder. Steve See (URL) for more on Calder. Maybe they'll someday learn (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Yes the 3x3 (low sloped) corner yellow bricks did come in the 7740 (4 to a set). But I contacted the eBay seller of the bid (where there were 18 of these). He (living in Israel) works part time for TLG, and got these slopes in a special (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)
