I recently bought a 4559 and modified it making it a solid passenger train. None of this portable compartment shit! I think it kinda works! Ireally like yelloew and black together! I don't really buy lego trains for realism - more escape-ism. I also (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains)

Unless PageMill has dramatically improved (I last used it about two years ago), it is a pretty weak product in my opinion. It was okay for building a page but lousy when it came to site management. Hi Doug, Looks like a good start! Did you build it with the boiler top horizontal to begin with? Does the stepped top in the photos look better? Re the wheels: I built a 4-6-0 GC steamer a few months ago using Technic pulley/wheels for the drivers (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)
